Housing

Participants will be housed in restored farmhouses that are part of Montpelier’s Constitutional Village. The houses have a kitchen or a kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and limited access to a telephone. We will provide all bed linens, towels and washcloths, and alarm clocks. Some participants will share a bathroom .

Cell Phone Reception & WiFi

Unfortunately cell phone reception is spotty and varies drastically dependent on your provider. If anyone needs to get a message to you, please have him/her call Susie Minogue in Lewis Hall at (540) 672.2728 x 118

WiFi is available through each house in the Constitutional Village, as well as Lewis and Claude Moore Halls. In addition, some areas of the grounds have WiFi access.

What to Wear

Dress for the workshop is business casual, however the classrooms can get a little chilly so a sweater is encouraged. Please also bring comfortable walking shoes for the Sunday night campfire event and roaming the property. You might also consider bringing the following items: an umbrella or raincoat, bug spray, flashlight, sun block, and a camera.
